President — Rich joined Homans in July 2004 as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. He was named Executive Vice President in January 2010 and became President in June 2015. Rich has been involved in all aspects of the business including sales, operations, finance, human resources, IT, governmental compliance, mergers and acquisitions, and vendor relations. He was instrumental in leading Homans in becoming the leading distributor of Mitsubishi ductless and VRF product in the country. Prior to Homans Rich served as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at a privately-owned building material distributor. Prior to that he obtained his CPA license when he worked at a mid-market public accounting firm in Boston.
Vice President: Mechanical Insulation — Greg began his career at Homans in May 1984 as Branch Manager. He was promoted to Sales and Marketing Manager in 1994 and was named Vice President of Sales in 2004. Prior to Homans, Greg spent ten years at Buerhaus/Yankee Insulation Company.
Vice President of Sales (Mitsubishi Products Division) — Mark joined Homans in June 2011 as the Director of Mitsubishi & VRF Commercial Sales. With almost 32 years of previous experience in the industry, Mark came to Homans with 14 ½ years of experience from ABCO Refrigeration, 6 years from United Refrigeration and 11 years from Day Supply Company.
Vice President of Sales (Residential Equipment & Supplies) — Joe came to Homans in July 2005 as a Branch Manager. He worked for three HVAC distributors in Florida before moving up to New England. Joe has over 25 years of industry experience. He was promoted to Director of Bryant HVAC Sales in June 2014 and Vice President in March 2016.
Chief Financial Officer — Tim joined Homans in March 2015 as the Regional Finance Director. He was previously at Agilent Technologies and Reebok and has 25 years of financial management experience.
Director of Operations — Tony has been with Homans since February 1979. He began his career as a Warehouse Sales Associate. He was promoted to Warehouse Distribution Manager in 1994, and then onto Regional Manager in 2001, then transferred to Operations in 2006. He is currently the Director of Operations since his promotion in 2012. Tony previously worked for Lechmere Sales as a purchasing agent for 10 years.
General Manager — Bob joined Homans in October of 2007 as the Branch Manager in our Braintree location. He was promoted to Market General Manager in 2016 to manage territories in Hyannis, Fall River, Braintree, Auburn, Southborough, Warwick RI, Williston VT, Pawtucket RI, Syracuse NY and Latham NY. He previously spent 7 years at Winwholesale. He has 33 years in the HVAC field and holds multiple licenses.
Director, Homans Solutions & Technologies — — Mark joined Homans in September 2015 as eCommerce Product Information Manager. He was promoted to Director, Homans Solutions & Technologies in 2019. He came to Homans with over 10 years of experience in B2C eCommerce from Grapevinehill, Inc.
Purchasing Manager — Jay has been with Homans since 1985 where he started as a part-time warehouse associate. He was promoted to Inside Sales in 1987 and then Branch Manager in 1990. He is currently the Purchasing Manager and has been since 1996.
Human Resources Manager — Julie joined Homans in 2006 part time as the payroll and benefits coordinator. In early 2007 she took on the Human Resource functions as well. During her 13+ years at Homans she has done a little bit of everything.
Mitsubishi Business Development Manager — Scott began his career with Homans in January 2006 as a TM for the Vermont market. He was promoted to Mitsubishi Senior Product Specialist when Homans brought on the Mitsubishi VRF & Ductless product line. In January, 2017 he assumed his current role as Mitsubishi Business Development Manager.
